Peat fibre is ancient hare’s-tail cottongrass mummified in the moor. It is a material which continues to mineralise itself. The forces within the peat fibre can be converted and thereby made beneficial and useful for the human being.
Dr Rudolf Steiner offered suggestions for this conversion whereby the peat fibre is impregnated with pure, stimulating plant qualities. The development of the Wandil processes is based on these ideas.
The resulting refined peat is then used to create Wandil peat oils as well as Piitbo textiles such as duvets, clothes made from woven cloth and knitted items. Wandil currently offer around ninety different products to choose from. Many customers experience a positive influence on their wellbeing.
